This is the Harrington Hump - installed at Harrington Station in Cumbria. They are a a glass reinforced plastic hump installed at stations with low platforms.
This demonstrates the ease for the driver in stopping at the correct spot and the convenience for alighting passengers (compared with the climb up for the Conductor at the rear of the train.
These are primarily aimed at disabled people but getting cycles on / off trains would be much easier too - low height platforms are a serious problem, particularly for smaller cyclists and loaded bikes.
The 'Harrington Hump' costs around £25,000 to install, as against £250,000 to raise a platform.

What? No comments yet on this brilliant device. As a cyclist and member of The Copeland Rail Users Group (CRUG) that suggested the idea in the first place, I thought I'd better say something.
The Hump has now won two awards: one from The Association of Community Rail Partnerships (ACORP) at their 2009 National Awards Ceremony in Carlisle and one, last week, at The Civil Service Awards Ceremony in London.
Needless to say CRUG wasn't mentioned in either citation for the awards, but we are pleased that it has gained wider recognition. It will be a great help not only to cyclists but also to disabled/elderly passengers and people with heavy luggage. We hope it will be installed on the many hundreds of stations with low platforms around the country.

Где грань нормальности? При этом девушки вообще ничего не воспринимают в случае в случае если ты всем всем не демонстрируешь ей какая она супер и ты в ней заинтересован?? Сплошные игры а в постели кто-то часто ленится и в первую очередь женщины, думая что стоит подергать за пипиську и вот уже вновь в деле. Стоит ли расходовать время на дам живущих мечтами о принце? так как образ может сильно отличаться? или же это так просто игра чтобы в случае в случае если что прикинуться неплохой? Ведь когда общаешься чуешь даму и готов и делаешь ей приятное а в ответ одни неадекватные вещи? чего они хотят в сексе в случае в случае если их самих не прет от тех кого они облюбовали?
